Prior to joining the firm, Kwan was a law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Linnea R. Johnson. He also served as a judicial intern for United States District Judge Kenneth A. Marra.

Kwan earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, he served as a member of the University of Florida Law Trial Team, where he competed in the TYLA National Trial Competition. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
